This time two years ago, my girls were busy planning an awesome awesome bridal shower. Yes, no typo there. It was so awesome I had to write the word twice. I’ve known these ladies for over 20 years and feel so lucky to be surrounded by women who readily run to you with a box of tissue in times of heartaches (sometimes with Johnny and Jack in tow), or who will be the first to give you a little scolding when you do something stupid. Yes, we laugh together, cry together, and do crazy little things together. I don’t think I’ve been able to thank them enough for giving me a day (and night!) to remember! So today I’m sharing with you their amazing labor of love – all DIY, put together over alcohol and Whatsapp coordination!
♥♥♥♥♥
The day started with a trip to the parlor. They made sure I was prepped and pretty for the day’s festivities! Every girl loves a good blow dry!
Then I was brought to The Cookery Place where I was greeted by this…
…and this!!! My eyes lit up in excitement seeing how my friends lovingly styled the place. All crafted and handmade out of love…and maybe a bit of pressure knowing how much I loved parties! 😂
We were in for a morning of cooking lessons – i’ve never made sushi rolls in my life! Check-out our chef instructor who’s such a sport donning his sexy guy apron! Haha!
Thank you ladies for bringing out even more the Martha Stewart in me…and, well, in you!
Special shout out to my Matron of Honor Patty and and to my sister and Maid of Honor, Marian, who I think, unleashed their crafty sides and their love for all things wedding during my wedding planning dayzzzz!
But wait, there’s more! Too bad this is the only photo I can share of Part Two! *wink*

Truly a labor of love! I wonder how they came up with the ideas. When my bestfriend got engaged, we just had a “slumber party” at a hotel!
