Its half time! Yep, we’re in the second half of the year and yes, I made that sorry sports reference opening because we’re feeling athletic on the blog today! It’s double the fun in HMP as we feature two soccer-themed (or football-themed, however you want to call it) DIY parties! It’s a theme fit for both kids and adults so read on to get some ideas for your next homemade party!
JOEY’S FC BARCELONA PARTY: This time, the party’s for daddy! Gwynna put together a football-themed party for her husband who’s an avid FC Barcelona fan. Lots of fun details here like the football field table and her DIY net banner. Gwynna made the Happy Birthday sign by manually cutting and pasting blue, red and yellow carotlinas. To create this look, she used a t-shirt pattern taken from the internet, strips of red cartolina, and cut out the letters using an FC Barcelona font. She sure hit the goal with this one!

Mommy made sure she was in theme all throughout, creatively calling the different stations of the venue Half-Time Meal (main buffet area), Nate’s Field (memorabilia corner), Give-away Bleachers, Gifts Corner and Sweets Dug-out.
