Mommy Checka was worried her photos were not of the best quality, but hey, you can’t put a good party down just because your photos aren’t professionally take, right? This DIY party is filled with lots of Toy Story-themed ideas, I was excited to share it! Not to mention it’s one of my favourite Disney movies, and, of course, little Euan’s too (there’s a film showing in the house morning, noon, and night per mommy😂), thus the theme. I love the creativity in every detail: the themed snack labels written on an Etch-a-Sketch template (like Mr. Potato Chips, infiniTEA and beyond, etc), the green army men inside buckets for centrepieces (I’m sure the kids had a blast), but my personal favourite has got to be the giant block letters which were made by mommy out of styrofoam and recycled wooden letters from Euan’s first birthday party!
I’ll leave you with some words from mommy Checka which describes just how fun and fulfilling it is to make DIY parties for our babies.
It was such a feat but hindi mababayaran ang sense of accomplishment and fulfillment na we were able to do all these for Euan. I kept saying na I was doing it to save on the cost, but actually I felt it was more special and something that I will never forget. Hubby (who was very supportive all throughout my DIY journey, hahaha) and I did this for the love of our little Euan.
