When little Liam turned two, he got to party not once but twice for his big day! Mommy Audrey shares: “The venue was too small to fit both our families in, so we threw 2 separate parties on 2 consecutive days instead. It was double the work, but the venue allowed us to keep the reusable decor on until egress the following day.” What a lucky little boy to be celebrating twice in a row! Check out his party and read to the end for some practical tips and ideas for your next homemade party! These practical party planners (aka mommy and daddy) coordinated with the caterer regarding available decors and used some of those to add to their adorable DIY cardboard train centrepiece. I think those picket fences and “lamp post” fit the theme perfectly! Notice how the train also doubled as snack holders? They didn’t have any program planned so mommy and daddy decided to hire one mascot for each day to surprise Liam with. Mickey Mouse came to his party and so did the ever energetic Jollibee! I bet it was a treat for all the guests too because hey, how can a dancing giant bee not make you happy?! You could surely learn a thing or two on how to throw a homemade party from today’s post! I love how this mommy and daddy tandem were so practical with their party planning! (Here’s a little trivia…I heard daddy was the more crafty and meticulous one with all the party preps!😂) Achieve this look for your next DIY party:
