Its one thing to DIY your baby’s party, but to DIY amidst news of a Public Storm Signal No. 3 is another! Its a good thing that this supermom started her preparations months before her baby’s birthday, starting with the rosettes that she’d patiently make on weekends or weekdays after work. So even if little Kendra’s birthday party fell on the day a typhoon hit their province, mommy Pia was prepared! The pink and lime green polka dots motif helped brighten what otherwise would’ve been a very gloomy day. Scroll through the rest of the photos to get more ideas for your next DIY event!

More from mommy Pia about the party:
I conceptualised and created our own candy buffet, party hats, pompoms, giveaways made of mini clothespin, washi tapes and wooden beads, candy buffet decorations made from emptied and cleaned bottles of Vita milk, the party banners, the party tags, all the party templates were all originally made by that DIY woman I believe I am. I almost DIYed everything except for the food – Cooking is another talent I wish to master before my lifetime ends.
